Sensilk, a Silicon Valley-based company launched Women’s Flight Tech Sports Bra. This highly functional and fashionable bra, designed by Ralph Lauren’s Ashley Tyler, “just feels like you’re in a regular bra,” she said. Innovative bra is cut exquisitely to provide adequate coverage, superior fit and moisture-wicking performance. Sensilk’s clothing line, which currently includes the Women’s Flight Sports Bra and Sensilk X1 Transmitter, uses special textile and electronic components – their SOAR sensor is built directly into the clothing – to track the user’s heart rate, heart rate variability, respiration rate, heart rate recovery rate, distance traveled and calories burned.
As you workout, your data is wirelessly uploaded and tracked via Sensilk’s iOS compatible mobile app, where the program’s unique heart rate algorithms analyze your data to give each workout a dedicated fitness score. Users can track their fitness data and final workout scores to improve fitness, track their progress toward a determined goal, as well as share their data and workouts with others and compete for the highest score.
The Sensilk Women’s Take Flight Tech Kit (which includes both the Flight Tech Bra and X1 Transmitter) retails for $140.
