IWC is presenting latest version of the watch, Pilot’s Watch Double Chronograph Edition “Le Petit Prince”, which highlights the unusual stellar element that is difficult to notice at first glance. Inside the circle in the center of the blue dial, with characteristic “cockpit” design, are grouped stars that, one per day, randomly light up. Lighting stars symbolize the planets that the prince visited during his trip, and are engraved on the background of the watch together with the names of their fictional inhabitants and a portrait of the prince.
New model launches automatic caliber 79420 with 44-hour power reserve, and has two stopwatch seconds hands mounted one on top of the other which allow the owner to reliably record intermediate times, even within the same minute. This function is also known as a double chronograph.
Housing diameter 44 mm is made of stainless steel and has a special inner casing of mild steel that protects the mechanism of magnetic activity. On the front of the chassis is sapphire glass. The new IWC Pilot’s Watch Double Chronograph Edition “Le Petit Prince” watch comes with a brown leather strap and is available in a limited edition of 1000 copies.
