BMW has officially presented to the public a new generation of its most luxurious limousines. It is the new 7 Series, which will continue to be available now in standard form (trade mark G11) and the variant with extended wheelbase (G12). The factory data say that thanks to the significant use of carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) new model is lighter and more economical than the previous one. Specifically, the new generation is about 130 kg lighter than the previous, and will have petrol and diesel engines, including 6-cylinder petrol engine with TwinPower turbocharged and 8-speed Steptronic transmission.
At the beginning will be offered versions of the BMW 740i six-cylinder engine with 240 kW / 326Hp, then the BMW 750i xDrive with V8 biturbo engine with 330 kW / 450Hp and 4×4, as well as the BMW 730d with 195 kW / 265Hp. It is known also that the new 7 Series, depending on version, have alloy wheels of 17, 18, 19 or 20 inches, while the color palette includes, Alpine White, Carbon Black, Black Sapphire, Black College, Cashmere Silver, Glacier Silver, Imperial Blue, Grey Sophisto, Mineral White, Grey Singapore, Jatoba, Magellan Grey and Arctic Grey Brilliant.
It should be noted that the car boasts automatically adaptive air suspension, new steering (Integral Active Steering), a new generation of iDrive system with touch screen, parking remote control and a number of advanced driver assistance systems.
