The towering 34,688 square foot residence was built in 2007 and sits on 17-acres of park-like property with formal gardens, infinity swimming pool, guard house, and frontage along the Chattahoochee River. Inside are a variety of formal and informal living spaces all with a very comfortable feeling including the two-storey great room with wall of windows, and the warm and inviting gourmet kitchen.

In mid-2010 Perry famously purchased Dean Gardens, a sprawling 58-acre garden estate complete with 32,000 square foot main house, 10,000 square foot carriage house, extensive formal gardens, a private lake, conservatory, and wedding chapel.
