RAAS bills itself as Jodhpur’s first boutique hotel, but that doesn’t even begin to do it justice. Set in the heart of the walled city of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, RAAS is a 1.5-acre property uniquely located at the base of the Mehrangarh Fort, the best-preserved fort in India. Luxury boutique hotel with 39 rooms including seven apartments is blend of the old and the new. The 35 rooms have views of the Mehrangarh and the remaining four have views of private gardens that overlook the older restored buildings.

All rooms are designed in a clean and modern manner and decorated with great attention to detail including high-end designer furniture and fixtures. The décor is modern and eclectic with reference to the rich colors Jodhpur, The BLUE city which is known for (pink/sandstone, blue/”Jodhpur blue” blue washed homes, black/ terrazzo).
In a central courtyard is the hotel swimming pool lined with cabanas, the ideal refuge from the daytime heat and two restaurants, one that is indoors, the other is outdoors, a chic café by the gorgeous pool area. There is also a small spa that leans towards Ayuverdic treatments.
