While waiting the release of Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens in the autumn, many are racing to create pieces made up of the best-known (and loved) characters and spaceships from the series. One of them is Berlin designer Malaika Raiss who has acquired a license from Disney-owned Lucasfilm Ltd. to create a 20-piece Star Wars-themed jewelry collection for her label Malaikaraiss.

Raiss, who is also a stalwart fan of the Force has released visuals for two designs early – a glorious gold Darth Vader pendant and a pair of dazzling gold Imperial Shuttle post earrings. This collection will include a number of fine jewellery pieces too, made from 18CT gold, rose gold and even diamonds, with prices ranging between €70 and €600 (about $79 to $677). The line will be sold from the Malaikaraiss Web site and in select stores worldwide.
