Official promotion is supposed to be held at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show, but Porsche could not wait the Frankfurt Show, and today unveiled the official pictures and details about the 911 facelift model for 2016 in the Coupe and Cabriolet versions. Renewed Porsche 911, in relation to the previous version, is visually distinguished by taillights, hood, as per the modified rear bumper. New 911 for 2016 also received a revised headlamps, revised front bumper and LED daytime running lights.
The interior has got a new steering wheel, like the one from the 918 Spyder, as well as 7.0-inch touchscreen, Android and Apple CarPlay Auto Connect and standard navigation.
Special attention, however, attracts a range of engines. The 911 Carrera and Carrera S got a new 3.0-liter 6-cylinder twin-turbo engine with 272 kW / 370Hp and 450 Nm or 309 kW / 420bHp and 500 Nm.
We should also mention that the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) system is now standard, and there are a Sport Chrono Package, which now has a switch on the steering wheel that allows the driver to choose between Normal, Sport and Sport Plus and Individual driving modes, followed by an optional control system on all four wheels, and a choice between a seven-speed manual and seven-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox. Finally, the New Porsche 911 for 2016 will go on sale on 12 December, and the price start from 94,344 euros ($105,300).
