If you wonder what does the home of “The Queen of Burlesque” look like, now you’ll find out. Dita Von Teese purchased a marvelous Tudor Revival-style house in Los Feliz, Los Angeles. She just dropped $2.83 million on a sprawling 3,200-square-foot villa. The house built in the 1927 (her favorite era), was decorated by designer Stacia Dunnam and features four bedrooms and five bathrooms (three full bathrooms and two powder rooms).
There’s an English kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a breakfast area, living and family rooms and a den. It comes complete with a serene backyard pool area, original details throughout, and plenty of privacy. The master suite features a private terrace and stunning updated bathroom, while the family room is cozied up by a fireplace that’s complemented by slate and hardwood flooring.
Some of the stunning details include a rotunda entrance, wood-beam cathedral ceilings, gothic arches, white walls with wood paneling and decorative medallions.
It comes complete with a large, intimate pool, tucked into the backyard, and the detached pool house with a half bath and dry sauna and plenty of privacy. The property gets its green cover in form of a forest of pine and California oak trees that surround the gardens.
Dita Von Teese isn’t the only star with luxury house in this area Scarlett Johansson and Australian singer/songwriter Sia are also just a couple of the other famous residents in the same neighbourhood.
