Before planning your next trip, check out this one of the best Hotel and Designer collaborations. Really, these pieces will make any day feel like a vacation. Los Angeles-based designer Heidi Merrick, daughter of renowned surfboard shaper Al Merrick crafted a limited-edition collection of surf-ready pieces for Kauai’s St. Regis Princeville Resort.
Limited edition beachwear collection includes a rash guard for women and children and features a vibrant and distinct design that was inspired by the beloved resort, as well as by the land and natural surroundings of Kaua‘i. Showcasing a creative twist on the breathtaking view enjoyed at The St. Regis Princeville Resort, the rash guards showcase an image, which has been broken into horizontal stripes that beautifully cascade down the rash guard, depicting the iconic Hanalei Bay and Makana Mountain as seen from the property.
The design also speaks to Merrick’s ready to wear looks as her collections feature clean lines and oftentimes stripes. Merrick is a guest of The St. Regis Princeville Resort, calling it her home while in Kauai, and possesses a passion for surfing and a love for the destination and the ocean.
The collection will be available for purchase at the resort’s Halele’a Spa and through www.HeidiMerrick.com. The rash guards retail at $230 for women’s sizes and $160 for the children’s sizes and the fabric boasts an SPF/UV protection of +50.
