All Mercedes-Benz fans can now live the lifestyle in their own home. Germany brand, best known for making technological advanced, ultra-comfortable cars is turning its attention to apartments for business travellers. In collaboration with the Frasers Hospitality Group, a leading international provider of luxury serviced apartments, Mercedes-Benz will will offer up six fully furnished apartments in London. The project is called Mercedes-Benz Living, and London is just the start with more to come.
Each of the six apartments will feature over 1000 square feet of living space and be located in London’s exclusive Kensington area. Each will feature two bedrooms with interior layouts created in collaboration with Burmester and Swarovski. A centrepiece of each apartment will be a multimedia system that the company calls the Black Magic Wall. An entire wall given over to digital entertainment and finished in high-gloss black, it will provide a huge visual contrast and is a careful nod to the deign aesthetic of a luxury car interior.
These exclusively appointed serviced apartments are aimed at business travellers and individuals who don’t want to compromise on style and comfort when they are away from home.
“More and more people are permanently on the move. They live and work in unfamiliar cities where they are looking for a ‘home away from home’ and a sense of security,” said Wilfried Steffen, head of the company’s Business Innovation department. “That’s exactly what we want to offer them.”
If the initial London pilot scheme is a success when it opens to business travellers in November, a further nine apartments in Singapore will be similarly developed.
