Las Vegas is known for its many wedding chapels and crazy themed ceremonies but if you’re looking for some alternative to the bustling frenzy of the Strip – there’s IPEC (International Peace Education Center). This new, freestanding facility is located just 5 minutes from McCarran International Airport, the Las Vegas Strip and all the entertainment it has to offer, but offers a distinctly private experience for couples and their guests. The white-tiled, 5,000-square-foot foyer has 29-foot ceilings and two curved staircases leading to the 10,000-square-foot ballroom which can comfortably accommodate festivities encompassing up to 720 guests for a reception or 450 for a seated dinner.
Not a hotel, IPEC offers its 49 guests rooms exclusively to clients who book the facility. Of these, 46 guestrooms include two queen-sized beds, a bathroom, desk and sitting area. Two one-bedroom accommodations have a master bath, living room and wet bar, while one four-bedroom accommodation offers three baths, a living room, dining room and kitchen – perfect for a bridal suite.
Onsite services available include 2 large, customizable LED screens, including one 22-foot-high screen in the foyer and one 22-foot-wide screen in the south lobby; state-of-the-art audio/visual, wireless and production services; an expansive registration area; business center services; 24/7 security; onsite parking for 200 vehicles and a 2,500-square-foot kitchen.
Preferred caterers, including Masterpiece Cuisine, Cut and Taste and B with a Twist, offer customized food and beverage services 24 hours a day, ranging from the rehearsal dinner, to a five-course seated dinner to brunch the morning after.
Price said the cost of renting space is negotiable based on the services provided, but renting the grand ballroom will start at $10,000 and using the entire facility starts at $50,000.
