Caesar Palace Las Vegas celebrates its 50th anniversary and specially for this oceans iconic hotel that has welcomed millions of visitors announced plans for for a $75 million tower renovation, renaming the former Roman Tower as the new Julius Tower. The Roman Tower has undergone several renovations before, but this is the biggest one so far. Scheduled to open to the public on Jan. 1, 2016, the new 587-room Julius Tower (named after Julius Caesar) will feature new design-savvy, modern rooms and suites designed by Michael Medeiros of KNA Design.
Caesar Palace’s $75 Million Tower Renovation
Each room will have a neutral color pattern with touches of “freesia yellow and Aegean blue,” according to a hotel statement. Mirrored headboards, 55-inch flat-screen TVs, double-sink bathrooms and artwork that juxtaposes photos of Roman statues with hand-drawn showgirl costumes will also feature. Prices for rooms inside the tower will start at $149 per night.
The high-rise wing is the latest piece of a $1 billion investment, cementing Caesars Palace as the premier resort at the center of the Las Vegas Strip.
