The Dutch company Bolt Mobility introduced its AppScooter – electric scooter that may not stand out by its appearance, but also brings a very interesting feature. Two-wheeler, which price will range from 2,990 to 3,490 euros (depending on the cosmetic additives), can be integrated with “smart” phone. In addition, future owners will have to pay 29 euros monthly for services of renting the battery and already mentioned connection to the phone.
The scooter has not yet entered into production but how much the company is confident of its ability tells the fact that they call it “Dutch Tesla on two wheels”.
By connecting to the phone, on the touch screen located on the instrument panel, can run applications such as Google Maps, Spotify and WhatsApp, and over the phone you can get access to data on the state of the battery, alarm can be turned on or off, but also disable it from running.
It is powered by an electric motor whose autonomy, according to the Dutch company, is 150 km, and it was also stated that AppScooter accelerate to 45 km/h in 3.9 seconds.
Efficient electric scooter with technical appendices can not be a bad thing, but there is always the fear that the use of the applications while driving interfere with the driver. But on the other hand, it is the technologies already available on cars, so why not the drivers of motorcycles and scooters can’t enjoy the same treatment.
