Mobiado has presented a new collection of military mobile phones – Professional 3 ML Stealth and Commando. In the early 20th century, Mobiado designer Guido Panerai created some of the earliest luminous watches for use by the Italian navy, using radium bromide and zinc sulphide. Following this military tradition both the Professional 3 ML Stealth and Commando use a multi-layered Super-Luminova coating to create the first luminous mobile phone.
Professional 3 ML Stealth established in case of high-strength aircraft-grade aluminum alloy 6061 with a black anodized finish. The sapphire crystal plates are hand-painted and have Super-Luminova lettering. Battery compartment, traditionally, has a special safety lock, opened by a special Mobiado key.
Professional ML Commando 3 is made of the same materials, but painted in camouflage coloring.
Both are unlocked handsets and operable on any GSM network. The specs include dual-SIM quad-band GSM support, dual-band 3G coverage, a 2.4-inch QVGA display, microSD memory expansion, a camera, Bluetooth 3.0, email and music playback.
Mobiado commemorates its very first military mobile instrument, the Luminoso Stealth, with the unique ML Dog Tag. The dog tag is made from 2mm thick solid sapphire inset into a silver anodized aluminum frame. The back of the dog tag displays the date 01-02-2008 for when the Luminoso Stealth was first released.
The Mobiado Professional 3 ML Commando with the sapphire dog tag will cost $2,240 while the Mobiado 3 ML Stealth with two additional keys will cost $2,340.
