Saint Laurent has announced the opening up its largest and perhaps coolest store to date in Tokyo’s Omotesando district. Three stories high and occupying 10,000 square feet, the store will be the largest of all Saint Laurent locations in the world. Luxury space is set to bring the brand’s signature aesthetic to the Rodeo Drive-esque sought-after strip. Designed around previously and spectacularly used materials such as black marble, brass, glass and touches of plush leather, the store will carry both men and women’s ready-to-wear offerings, as well as their infamous leather goods and other accessories.
To commemorate the opening, the store has welcomed a collaboration with Los Angeles-based artist Lucia Ribisi, who designed a run of limited-edition Saint Laurent surfboards. With only 10 such surfboards ever created, each one is priced at $6,615. It will certainly be an interesting experience to shop here.
