In Spring 2016, the long-awaited Wardman Tower in DC will finally open to new residents. The Wardman Tower might not be a familiar name for anyone who does not spend time in Woodley Park but the list of former occupants is awfully impressive. The original Wardman Tower was built in 1928 by Harry Wardman as a luxury apartment annex to the adjacent Wardman Park Hotel. The Tower was home to many prominent Washington figures, including U.S. presidents Herbert Hoover and Dwight Eisenhower.

However, the Wardman Tower has been renovated over the past year by developer JBG and NORTH AMERICA SEKISUI HOUSE, LLC (NASH), and will encompass the existing tower’s 200,000 square feet and will feature 32 high-end condominium residences. The development restores the Wardman exterior to its full grandeur.
Residences will be priced from $3 million to $9 million—some of the most expensive in the city. Each unit will range from 2,200 square feet for two bedroom condos to 4,600-square-foot penthouses. The layout is designed to take advantage of the views with entertaining spaces like the living room, dining room and gallery rooms focused at the ends of the home. Each residence will be outfitted with oak panel flooring, crown molding, picture windows, custom cabinetry, marble sinks and backsplashes, stainless steel appliances, and a kitchen island and breakfast bar.

The property will also include two clubrooms, a fitness center with yoga studio and training room, storage spaces, a catering kitchen, an English garden, and a rooftop terrace with outdoor kitchen.
A full-time concierge, full-time staff members, doormen, valets and porter services are also luxury amenities which will be available to new residents.
