Remarkable things can sometimes be found in places where it is least expected, and the following story proves it. Namely in a warehouse in Cornwall, in the UK, found eight models by Brough Superior company were found, for which were thought to be lost long since. In the collection is also a model with four-cylinder engine, one of only eight of which were produced in total and only whose fate has not been known until now.
From Bonhams says that it is one of the most important discoveries of this kind in recent years, especially as the existence of some of these machines were almost an urban myth. No wonder, when they spent past half-century in darkness and dust.
Among discoverd motorcycles, the highest value has Brough Superior BS4, and it is estimated that it could be sold between 110,000 to 165,000 euros.
There is also a Brough Superior SS100 from 1938, which could sell from 80,000 to 110,000 euros, as well as 12 years older specimen, whose value is estimated at 40,000 to 55,000 euros.
The cheapest is the SS80 from 1936, although in parts, but it might be sell from 8,000 to 11,000 euros.
The total value of the entire collection is around 470,000 euros!
All motorcycles will look for new owners at an auction to be held in April next year.
