One of the younger brands in the luxury watch – Maurice Lacroix has teamed up with Harrods to introduce a special edition Maurice Lacroix Materspiece Gravity, limited to only three pieces. Original Masterpiece Gravity was presented at BaselWorld last year to celebrate the brand’s 40th anniversary as mix of tradition and innovation.
There is plenty to like about the Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece Gravity Harrods Exclusive Limited Edition watch aside from its visuals that catch the eye. Developed in-house, it features a silicium assortment – the first of its kind – an off-center hour and minutes display, and a small seconds display at 5 o’clock. Its sapphire crystal backing allows a perfect view of Calibre ML230 – an automatic caliber using 5 jewels, an 18,000vph operating speed, and a 50-hour power reserve.
All cased in 43mm wide stainless steel, with a black alligator strap, and quirks that include a “Côtes de Genève” decoration on its main bridge, you’ll find in the Harrods Fine Watch Room with a price point of £9,350 (about $13,900).
