Sarah Palin is selling her Scottsdale, Arizona, estate for nearly $2.5 million. Former Alaska Governor and vice presidential nominee’s purchased the property in 2011 for $1.7 million. The 7,900-square-foot home sits on a 5-acre lot and features six bedrooms, 6½ bathrooms and a six-car garage. Built in 2001, the estate comes with its own private heated swimming pool and spa, a lighted sports court and wine cellar. Palin family had made several upgrades to the property since purchasing, including new windows and a revamped backyard which now includes a covered patio, veranda and fireplaces, as well as a built-in space to grill and a fire pit.
The newspaper describes the property as “a blend of Santa Barbara, Tuscan and Spanish styles” with high ceilings adorned with chandeliers.
Kristan Cole, who operates a top-selling real-estate team based in Wasilla, Alaska, is the co-lister on the Scottsdale property and the connection to Sarah Palin and her husband.
