Three-time Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton wanted to buy a unique Ford Mustang from 1965 owned by the rally driver Ken Block, but the price was too high for him. In his garage, Hamilton already has McLaren P1 and Pagani Zonda, and recently expressed his desire to buy Block’s Mustang Hoonicorn. It is a unique Mustang that was used to capture automotive show Gymkhana 7 “Wild in the Streets of Los Angeles.” Block obviously was not quite ready to sell his tuned car, and thus has set a high price. Hamilton never called back again.

“Lewis Hamilton wanted to buy the Mustang from me. When he heard the price, he suddenly lost interest,” Block said.
He also added that he would never change one of his racing cars for a modern day supercar. “Why should I spend a couple of hundred thousand dollars for a car that is slower than my rally car,” said Block.
Mustang Hoonicorn is made by ASD Motorsports and is based on the Mustang from 1965. It is powered by a 6.7 liter Roush Yates engine that develops 845 hp and 976 Nm of torque. It is paired with a six-speed manual transmission and has a drive to all four wheels.
