On March 4, 1931 the Reverso watch was born. This year 2016, is the 85th anniversary of Jaeger- LeCoultre “wristwatch which can slide on its base and flip over on itself”. To celebrate this occasion, Jaeger-LeCoultre will show new models in both the Classic, and Tribute collections, which would be officially launched at SIHH Fair. Available in small, medium, and large sizes, the Classic watches sport high complications and dual time zones.
The small comes with a quartz Jaeger-LeCoultre caliber 657 while the medium and large models feature a self-winding caliber 965. All new Classic models are in stainless steel.
Jaeger-LeCoultre is also introducing a new version of the dual time zone Classic Duo, in a Large model in either pink gold, or stainless steel only.
There is also a new Classic Duetto, which like the Classic Large Duo shows the time in two different locations, on two different faces. The Classic Duettos are hand wound, in either pink gold or stainless steel.
The Reverso Tribute Duo, on the other hand, sports a hand-wound caliber 854A/2 with a 45-hour power reserve, and comes with a stainless steel case. The back of this Reverso is dedicated to the second time-zone and the day-night indication.
Also, Jaeger-LeCoultre will launch the Reverso Tribute Calendar. The name is actually simpler than the watch; the Tribute Calendar has, on the front, the time plus the day, month, date, and moonphase; the back shows the time in a second time-zone, and as well has a day-night indication.
