The Swiss watchmaking brand Roger Dubuis presented a new, carbon-fiber version of its wonderful Roger Dubuis Excalibur 42 Automatic Skeleton model, which has a slightly sporty look and is somewhat lighter in comparison with the original version of this watch. Its intriguing red-colored dials elements additionally enriches its overall charm, while 42 mm wide and 12.14 mm thick case has a water resistance to a depth of 30 meters, making it a stylish and practical at the same time.
Otherwise, this is the first time ever that the Roger Dubuis brand uses carbon fiber for making the case for a single model, and we think they did a really great job.
Its mechanism – Roger Dubuis caliber RD820SQ automatically takes care of the operation of this clock, and looks truly stunning in its beautiful dark subject.
This complex mechanism has a frequency of 4 Hz and 28,800 vph, with a power reserve of 60 hours.
Carbon version of the Excalibur Skeleton Automatic model isn’t part of the limited edition, but will cost more than a decent new car, or more precisely $63,100.
