Footwear guru Charlotte Olympia has teamed up with English lingerie giant Agent Provocateur for a new capsule collection. Both labels are known for their distinctly retro take on contemporary styles and it’s no surprise that this new collection is more of the same. Inspired by the glory days of Hollywood glamour, the collection includes three lingerie sets that pair with three shoe styles an emphasize hallmarks of each brand – lips, cats and spider web lace.
This collaboration isn’t unexpected since Charlotte Olympia founder Charlotte Dellal is a long-time fan and collector of AP, and is also experienced in lingerie design, which she studied before getting into shoes. Equally, Agent Provocateur’s creative director Sarah Shotton has used Dellal’s heels many times to accompany the lingerie in campaigns.
“I love the playful and seductive allure Agent Provocateur evokes, which complements our shared visions and feminine brand sensibilities,” said Dellal. “It was a pleasure to design my first lingerie collection with Sarah; we both wanted to create a beautiful and timeless collection that champions the signature design features of the two brands. For the shoes, it was important the designs could be worn in and out of the bedroom.”
Charlotte Olympia x Agent Provocateur will be available from January 18, exclusively at Charlotte Olympia (shoes only), Agent Provocateur stores, agentprovocateur.com, and Net-a-Porter.
