After the robot Dip Blu, who in 1997 succeeded in defeating the Russian chess grandmaster Garry Kasparov, the time has come for robot that rapidly solves Rubik’s Cube. According to Daily Mail, software engineers Jay Flatland and Paul Rose from Kansas City, Missouri, made the little robot who succeeds in exactly 1.047 seconds to solve colorful puzzle, which can be seen on the video posted on YouTube.
Flatland and Rose announced that they would try to enroll robot’s feat in the Guinness Book of Records. So far, the Guinness record in solving the Rubik’s Cube keeps student from Florida, who last November managed to reorders all the colors of the cube for 2.39 seconds.
