Fleet of world’s largest superyachts are sailing in for Superyacht Miami Show for the first time, which will take place at Island Gardens Deep Harbour from February 11th – 15th. More than 20 superyachts, valued in excess of $800 million, will sail into Island Gardens Deep Harbour, North America’s only marina capable of accommodating up to 50 of the world’s largest yachts, for the inaugural show. As the official extension of Show Management’s Yachts Miami Beach, formerly the Yacht and Brokerage Show, the annual, invitation-only Superyacht Miami will be attended by an elite group of buyers, yacht brokers and manufacturers in town from all corners of the globe.

“Island Gardens Deep Harbour will host the most spectacular display of superyachts ever seen in Miami,” said Andrew Doole, senior vice president and COO, Show Management. “Some of the world’s largest, ultra-luxe yachts, like Silver Fast represented Burgess and 11/11 manufactured by Benetti, have confirmed their attendance for Superyacht Miami. This elite show is for the one percent of the one percent who can afford superyachts ranging in price from $30 million to $200 million.”
Island Gardens Deep Harbour is now fully operational and accepting daily, monthly, seasonal and annual leases. The superyacht marina offers 5,000 linear feet of capacity, accommodating an average of 50 yachts stretching up to 550 feet and drafts of 18-21 feet deep.

In time for Superyacht Miami, the marina’s developer, Flagstone Property Group, will launch its marina lounge concept, The Deck at Island Gardens, which will offer a rotating menu and breathtaking views of the waterfront.
“Deep Harbour puts Miami on the map as the world’s newest superyachting capital,” said Mehmet Bayraktar, chairman and CEO, Flagstone Property Group. “Our goal is to establish Miami as the American hub on the elite yachting circuit, along with Monaco, St. Tropez, Sardinia and St. Barts,” he added.
The general public will be able to view some of the world’s largest and most expensive yachts from the public promenade, where they can also envision what the mixed-use development will feature once the upland is integrated: two luxury hotels, curated waterfront dining and high end experiential boutique retail.
Upon completion of the entire development in season 2017/2018, the marina will also be complemented by a public water taxi transportation system servicing Miami and the beaches.
Open and fully operational as of early January, Island Gardens Deep Harbour kicked off with a ribbon-cutting celebration attended by Miami city officials and South Florida’s yachting community. The event was held outside of the completed marina lounge, where more than 50 guests enjoyed speeches by Island Garden’s concept architect Eric Kuhne, Flagstone Property Group’s chairman and CEO, Mehmet Bayraktar, and City of Miami Mayor Tomás P. Regalado, followed by a tour of the piers.
