Dutch design studio, Sea Level, unveils their latest superyacht design: Future Concept CF8, where CF8 stands for ‘Cars and Family in 80 metres’. This new yacht is hoped to shape and give a glimpse vision of future yachting. This project aims to create a yacht that makes traveling around the world even faster and more enjoyable. CF8 boasts a strong outer shape with strong design lines that refer to the character lines of sports cars, with the curved centre volume that brings a counter posing shape ‘visually carried’ by the outer shape.
For this element the studio took inspiration from the showroom of Louwman Exclusive Cars in the Netherlands. This showroom is captured in a 5km sound barrier along the high way, built out of glass panels. A centre volume with a skin built out of glass provides a great opportunity to bring light into the living spaces, as well as a unique chance to accommodate a car collection that can be admired by people passing by.
The extreme width of the yacht offers great stability at sea, providing guests and crew with maximum comfort. CF8 can accommodate up to 12 guests across 8 tastefully appointed VIP cabins fitted with en-suite facilities and walk-in wardrobes. The owner’s suite can be found on the owner’s deck, including 250 square metres of private deck space, and there is also accommodation for a crew of 18.
The many special amenities on board include an amazingly generous car showroom for up to eight luxury cars, a large swimming pool which can be transformed into a dance floor, a helipad, a wellness area including a sauna, a top class gym, a stage just forward of the swimming pool, a cinema, as well as an impressive selection of water toys, including two 10 metre tenders, four Waverunners, and even a DeepFlight Dragon personal submarine.
