After the promotion of LC 500 coupe with 5.0-liter V8 petrol engine and 467 HP at the NAIAS show in Detroit, Lexus, at the Geneva Motor Show in early March, will present the LC 500h, a version with hybrid drive. Lexus LC 500h has a next-generation hybrid drive system, called Multi Stage Lexus Hybrid System, which provides “enhanced driving pleasure, improved performance and increased efficiency.”
Lexus, however, did not disclose specific details of the hybrid powertrain, but some previous reports say that it is a combination of 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine and electric motor having a combined output of 350 kW / 470 HP.
This same drive system will run the following generation of Lexus LS models, which is expected in the second half of 2017. In any case, more information will be announced at the Geneva Motor Show.
