You remember the scene from The Wolf of Wall Street movie in which Leonardo DiCaprio, who played Jordan Belfort, demolished a Lamborghini Countach in his drunken state. He then went on to drive it home – sort of – beating the hell out of the vehicle along the way. Well, a car that wasn’t depicted in the movie was an equally glamorous Ferrari Testarossa owned by the real Jordan Belfort, which is now on sale.
The car was supplied new to the penny stock swindler at the time, and is still in peak condition. It only changed two owners after Belfort who treated it like a garage queen, so no wonder why it has only 8,300 miles on its odo.
The Testarossa comes complete with a brand new set of matching luggage – and the current owner notes that a scrunched up $50 bill was found in the lining of one of the bags.
The car is going under the hammer in Monaco, Classic Driver reports.
