Virgin America, the Silicon Valley-based airline recently announced it would launch its upscale, low-cost service between San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Denver International Airport (DEN). The new route launches on March 15, 2016. The Blaze a New Trail campaign was described as a way for the company to show it “reinforces its commitment to the region” of Silicon Valley, which is also known as technological mecca.
So, booking on this route will give to all techy-travellers a lot of enjoyable facilities such as non-stop WiFi, power outlets, live TV, movies, and on demand food and drink services. The campaign also offers travelers a chance to win 50,000 Elevate points, hotel accommodations, Uber rides, a GoPro HERO4 Session camera, one year of LinkedIn Premium, and a one-year membership on Lynda.com, LinkedIn’s online learning platform.
Through a partnership with LinkedIn, the inaugural flight will feature an “onboard, live-streamed discussion on the future of entrepreneurship from 35,000 feet via the airline’s new high-speed satellite ViaSat WiFi.” Sir Richard Branson and Denver Mayor Michael Hancock will lead the conversation along with entrepreneurs from the Virgin Media Accelerator, powered by Techstars program.
