To celebrate the honoring to be the official 2016 timekeeper for the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association’s (SVRA), Zenith unveils the El Primero Chronomaster 1969 SVRA Edition. Inspired by vintage race cars, the watch features the SVRA logo which also serves as the 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock and the 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and a tachymetric scale on the dial which allows the wearer to compute speed based on travel time.

The case has 42 millimeters in diameter and hidesthe Swiss automatic Zenith in-house El Primero caliber 4061 with 31 jewels, 36,000 vph and a power reserve of 50 hours. The dial is topped with an anti-reflective domed sapphire crystal through which you can see the rotor with a Côtes de Genève motif.

The El Primero Chronometer 1969 SVRA Edition is limited to 100 pieces and comes with an alligator leather strap with yellow stitch work and a rubber lining.
