Alexander McQueen passed away six years ago, and his legacy lives on in his label’s stunning designs. But ,he didn’t live to see that his brand – one of the few European fashion houses without some semblance of an exclusive perfume business, breaking down that barrier and debuting a fragrance house at last. A new fragrance for women – McQueen Parfum was created with “night owls” in mind, using a trio of night-blooming florals – sambac jasmine, tuberose, and ylang ylang, to be exact – in its intoxicating mix.
The fragrance comes in the gold-feathered bottle – described as “a poem in glass”.
The fragrance, which has the rare concentration of a perfume, lands exclusively at Harrods on March 1, priced at 350 euros, or $385 at current exchange, at the high-end of the market, for a 50-ml. spray.
