Singapore cats have a new luxury leisure option – a hotel with designers bed, Swarovski Studded bowls and Roberto Cavalli wallpaper. Wagington Luxury Pet Hotel in Singapore offers accommodation for some luckiest cats in their luxury Purrington Suites. The Purrington Suites have their own separate entrance, so the cats never have to pass by the dogs. There are fourteen rooms all with purified air, while some even boast classical music on a Sensurround system to help stressed cats unwind. Dogs can swim in a bone-shaped swimming pool or exercise on special treadmills during their time at the Wagington.
But if these luxuries aren’t enough for your furry friend, you can always upgrade for a spa treatment or grooming. The hotel also plans to introduce ‘in-room dining’ featuring home-cooked food.
This five-star dog hotel housed in a converted British colonial-era bungalow in the heart of the city-state’s diplomatic quarter is owned by Estelle Tayler who said that since its opening in 2014, cat owners have clamoured for a similar style of upmarket lodging for their pets. Meow, meow…
