Aston Martin every year present one new model, each of which shall have a life cycle of seven years. Regardless of the announced numerous novelties, in the Aston Martin intend to limit the production to just 7,000 vehicles per year, in order to preserve exclusivity. One of the novelties is the new Aston Martin DB11, successor of the DB9 model.
After a few teaser announcement in front of us are the first official photos, while the official promotion will be held on March 1 at the Geneva Motor Show. It should be noted that the Aston Martin DB11 will be the first model to have benefit from the partnership with Mercedes-AMG brand.
DB11 is slightly longer than the DB9, with a spacious interior, and a digital instrument panel.
Under the hood is 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine with 600 horses, paired with an eight-speed automatic or manual six-speed gearbox, which should be enough to accelerate to 60 mph in a period of 4.0 seconds and to have a maximum speed of 199 mph. Also, in the plan is a convertible version, DB11 Volante, whose promotion is scheduled for 2017.
