Although the premiere of the new model was just held at the Geneva Motor Show, Lamborghini has previously sold all 40 copies of its new super sports model, named Centenario. Lamborghini Centenario was made on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of company founder Ferruccio Lamborghini, and among other things, it features an enhanced 6.5-liter V12 engine with the 566 kW / 770 HP, coupled with the Lamborghini Independent Shifting Rod (ISR) transmission.
Acceleration from 0 to 60 mph takes just 2.8 seconds, to 186 mph needs 23.5 seconds and top speed is higher than 217.5 mph. It should be noted that the car weighs 1520 kg, and the ratio of weight / power is only 1.97 kilograms per HP. As far as dimensions, Centenario is 4924 mm long, 1143 mm high, while the wheels are 20 and 21 inches with Pirelli PZero tires.
Lamborghini Centenario is the most technologically advanced Lamborghini so far. The car among other things has a body made entirely of carbon fiber, adjustable rear spoiler, carbon-ceramic brakes, sport seats made of carbon fiber, satellite navigation, a 10.1-inch touch screen, Apple CarPlay and much more. Bearing in mind a series of just 40 units, 20 coupes and 20 roadsters, it is not surprising the price of 1.75 million euros or $1.9 Million.
