Earlier, the Dutch press reported that the Spyker is returning on the market and, at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, will present a new sports car. These announcement proved to be accurate and in front of us is the new Spyker C8 Preliator model. New Spyker C8 Preliator is a successor of the C8 Aileron model, and is characterized by an evolutionary design with a new front grille, as well as improved aerodynamics, Turbofan alloy wheels of 19 inches, rear LED lights, aluminum chassis and Audi’s 4.2-liter V8 engine.
The aforementioned engine has 386 kW / 525 HP and 600 Nm, mated to a Getrag six-speed manual transmission or with the optional ZF six-speed automatic. As stated in the announcement, C8 Preliator from 0 to 60 mph comes in 3.7 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of 200 mph.
Spyker brand plans to produce limited series of only 50 copies, priced from 324,900 euros or $356,700 for the version with manual transmission, ie 330,990 euros or $363,400 for version with automatic transmission. Buyers will be offered a total of 16 exterior colors, including Jet Black Satin colors, as well as the Spyker Squadron GT2 special color scheme.
