French fashion label Roger Vivier has teamed up with celebrity stylist Camille Seydoux on a new capsule collection. The Prismick, one of the Maison’s most amazing icons, have been enriched by celebrity stylist Camille Seydoux, a friend of the house. Seydoux’s all-denim capsule collection comprises platform sandals, ankle boots, a shoulder bag, a bucket bag, a backpack and a sneaker.
The sister of actress and Bond girl Lea Seydoux has named her six-piece collection for spring/summer 2016 “Prismick,” in honor of the house’s 2012 line of the same name.
“We decided that my collection would be dedicated to the Prismick line created in 2012, which is one of my favorites,” she said. “I began by attentively exploring my own Prismick bag, which is in a melting fade of black and grey. I wanted to work on the idea of facets that make up grades of shading. I looked through the Maison’s archives and then I thought of denim. It’s a fabric that naturally burnishes.
Denim is both classic and modern, and significant detail, is very resistant.”
With its towering platforms and chunky metal chain and buckle detailing, the collection harnesses the fun girl band aesthetic of the Nineties and ties into the denim accessory that is sweeping through fashion at the moment.
“Denim can be worn with everything and can tone down an outfit. This capsule collection shakes up the look,” Camille adds.
