Italian castle can be yours for $8.3 million, but that’s not all – with it you’ll get the entire village. There are plenty of castles throughout Europe that are for sale, but few of them can afford you the title of feudal lords. The traditional 10th-century Castle di Sismano in Todi, outside of Rome has quite an illustrious history of owners: it was donated by Emperor Otto in 962 AD, and passed on to the family of the Prince Corsini (two of whom became popes) until it hit the market this week. That’s over 1,000 years of royal inhabitants. It is now on sale along with 2,100 acres of agricultural land and there are forests, fields, pastures and 18 hectares of olive groves.

The Castle itself occupies about 18,000 square meters. It has 40 bedrooms and 20 bathrooms, garden and swimming pool. Until recently, the direct descendant of the family Corsini has used part of the the castle, so that potential owners may have work to do redecoration.
