Casio G-SHOCK has unveiled their new limited edition Hammer Tone MR-G, which is the most expensive G-SHOCK ever made. Its ‘Hammer Tone’ reached the price of $6,200. This special edition timepiece is designed using the Japanese Tsu-i-ki technique; a traditional craft method that creates unique relief patterns through hammering. The Tsu-i-ki method has been used to create parts of the Japanese Railway, Bullet Train and Flying Machines. The MRGG1000HT timepiece features the hammer finishing on both bezel and center band links. The luxury timepiece includes highlights in Oboro-gin in addition to Akagene. Oboro-gin is a stunning dark silver hue while Akagene is a handsome copper alloy with 3-5% gold. Both materials are native to traditional Japanese craftwork.
