In the eighties, FIA regulation have allowed companies the approval to do of a small number of its models for racing, and one of them was the Lancia Stradale 037. The car came as a substitute for Lancia Stratos HF, thanks to Abarth, which then became part of Fiat-Lancia group. So, this model has received Kevlar reinforced body, new suspension and discs from Brembo and Abarth.
Under the hood is a 1995cc DOHC engine with 205 HP and is connected to manual five-speed transmission. In the pictures is the car with chassis number 063, with red with black interior, serviced only at Lancia authorized service and crossed only 322 km since the last one.
This copy from 1982 will go under the hammer at RM Sotheby’s auction which will be held on Sunday, 14 May in Monaco, and the expected price should be around 350,000 € or about $400,000.
