An Italian designer Gabriele Teruzzi wanted to design a mega yacht unlike any other, so he has come up with a radical concept that aims to take superyachts to new heights. With the master suite perched at 125-feet above the water, the 492-ft Shaddai would bring the owner and his or her guests from sea to sky, where they would enjoy jaw-dropping views of their surroundings. The floating owner’s cabin not only offers fabulous views, but includes 1,130 squra-foot terrace, a luxurious bedroom, dining area, fully-stocked bar and infinity pool with a glass wall.

Teruzzi said: ‘From there he can reach the feeling of a higher power, surrounded by the immensity of the sea and sky, reaching the clouds where everything reflects his place in the world: at the top. Furthermore, the infinity pool produces a visual effect of water with no boundary, merging with the sky.’
The main deck would be strewn with sun loungers while water from the infinity pool on the main aft deck above would rush down to create a waterfall effect.
On the lower deck, Teruzzi has rendered a 3,000-square-foot beach club with an aquarium at the centre, a pool, and a glass floor above.
Teruzzi envisions a yacht with the finest luxuries, including materials and textiles from top Italian fashion houses.
The yacht’s name, Shaddai, is a Hebrew word which is usually translated as ‘almighty’ or ‘omnipotent’ in English. It certainly is.
