The margherita pizza is so long it would take you about 20 minutes to walk from one end to the other. It required a total of 6 hours 11 minutes cooking, 250 pizza makers, but a total team of 400 from the all over the world, 2,000 kg of flour, 1,600 kg of tomato sauce, 2,000 kg of mozzarella cheese, 200 liters of oil and 30 kg of basil, 5 wood ovens (one every 400 meters) .
With record-breaking snack measured up at exactly 1,853.88 meters, the pizza makers in Naples beat the last record of 1,595.45 meters made by chefs at the Expo in Milan last year.
