Parking sensors are not cheap. If you’re one of those whose car doesn’t have the little beeping sensors to tell you how close you are while reversing, FenSens (a truncation of fender sensor) will give you device which will help you.
FenSens made a smart license plate holder and an app that can give your car all the parking sensors you need. The process is simple.
First, install the FenSens smart license plate frame using the included screwdriver and security screws over your current license plate. Then, after downloading the app to your smartphone, open the app and pair your FenSens device with your smartphone. Dock your smartphone into your mobile phone dock and open the FenSens app or just leave it in your pocket. The app will automatically detect you backing up and provide audio (beeps), visual display, and vibration feedback as you get close to an object.
You can simply park safe for almost surprisingly inexpensive way. Right now, FenSens is offering $99 early bird pricing, but retail is $149, which is still cheaper than any parking-sensor system you could find on an automaker’s site.
