These days, yacht owners are looking for more and more interesting water toys. Such one example is Flyboard Legend by Zapata Racing. Flyboard Legend is a board connected to a PWC turbine allowing the user to rise into the air, dive and jump out of the water and perform various freestyle figures. The Flyboard Legend is connected to the PWC by a hose, (18 or 23 meters long) redirecting the water flow pressure to nozzles placed either side of the board.
While managing the PWCs’ throttle, the user can reach up to 12 meters high (height varying according to the PWC power). The hydro-propulsion forces created offer a unique sensation and a total freedom of movement to the rider.
Zapata Racing is a brainchild of French genious, Franky Zapata. On 30th April 2016, Franky Zapata set a new Guinness World Record title for the farthest hoverboard flight (2,252 meters) during a spectacular attempt off the coast of Sausset-les-Pins in the south of France. Rising 50 metres above the surface for the attempt and trailed by a fleet of boats and jet skis, Franky, 37, piloted a futuristic aircraft called the Flyboard Air developed by his company.
