Turkish design studio Red Yacht Design has unveiled a sleek and sophisticated 50m superyacht called Stella. Specifically conceived for Mengi-Yay Yachts, the luxury yacht is scheduled to be built with a construction time of only 24 months.
Stella will feature the significant beach area at the aft part of the maindeck with a pool and a huge lounge area with different sunbed stages. There will be a plenty of water toys. Her garage will host water skis, diving equipment and a tender every bit as refined as her own design.
Although extensively developed, the design remains very much open to interpretation. The master suite for instance can either be placed forward on main deck, allowing full use of the yacht’s beam. Another layout option sees the entire upper deck, apart from the wheelhouse, be cleared as an owners-only deck with a private terrace leading outside onto the aft deck.
With the master suite on main deck, a large skylight in the deckhead above creates a sensual setting inside where a private owner’s spa is located. This area consists of an intimate indoor pool with a balcony on either side that can be easily operated by the owner without the need of the crew’s direct assistance.
Four additional guest cabins are located on the lower deck with crew accommodation situated in the very forward section of this deck.
Stella takes on an exterior of a high performance superyacht yet offers maximum space, comfort and style that one would expect of a full displacement version. Her 24 knot top speed is equally matched by a range of 3,000 nm while cruising at economical speed. Despite her impressive speed, Stella is designed with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure to increase stability and comfort at sea.
