The long-awaited serial Ford GT model year 2017, recently appeared at this year’s Le Mans, with the reminder that the price of the base version is about $ 450,000. The car is powered by 3.5 liter V6 twin-turbo engine with about 630 hp and 730 Nm, mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the drive is on the rear wheels. Ford has previously announced that about 7,000 people want the new GT, but the production in the first two years limited to only 250 pieces (American manufacturer, however, hasn’t said how many years in fact plans to produce a new GT).
Ford GT 66 Heritage Edition
Now the Americans have promoted the special edition called ‘Ford GT ’66 Heritage Edition, made on the 50th anniversary of one historic 1-2-3 victory from 1966 in Le Mans achieved with the model GT40 Mark II.
Ford GT ’66 Heritage Edition is therefore characterized by Shadow Black exterior (in gloss or matte release), with silver straps, styling package in carbon fiber, 20-inch alloy wheels in satin gold release, as well as the interior in which stand out seats made of carbon Ebony leather, carbon fiber elements in mat issue, the plate with the serial number and the accents of gold.
