Numarine debuts 78HT Evolution to the world at the Cannes Yachting Festival, and the Turkish builder’s 60 Flybridge will make its European debut at the Sept. 6-11 show. The new 78HT Evolution is a “facelift” evolution of the successful 78 Hardtop and 78 Flybridge models, the company said. The full-beam owner’s cabin features wardrobe space, a walk-in shower, a separate head and twin basins. The yacht has three en-suite cabins.
The 78-foot yacht hides what the company is calling its new “silent package,” which uses a system of lithium-ion batteries, along with a smart energy-management system and a multi-stage air-conditioning system.
In simple terms, this allows the owner to sit at anchor the entire day and run all of the boat’s electrical systems, including air conditioning, audio/video and appliances, with the generator running only for a short charge at midday.
Separately, the 60 Flybridge is 60 feet long and has a 17-foot beam. It has a 35-knot top speed and cruises at 28 knots, using IPS drive systems to keep fuel consumption and maintenance costs down, the company said.
