Recently, when Manufacture Royale changed owner, they launched a new watch – 1770 Haute Voltige with new and practical complication, a second time-zone indication at 5. 1770 Voltige is the ideal measure of innovation, purity and classicism. With its heart beating above the dial, it captures a savoir-faire as well as a new vision of time. Like the voltigeur, the acrobat that inspired its name, 1770 Voltige implies precision and expert technique, but also daring and risk-taking.
The Manufacture Royale 1770 Haute Voltige comes in a large 45mm case in stainless steel. The dial is available (for the moment) in two editions; black and dark blue. A Swiss automatic Manufacture Royale in-house caliber makes things tick in this watch, featuring 28 jewels, 21,600 vph and a pretty impressive 40-hour power reserve. Dubbed as MR07, this complex movement also features visible bridges and plates, that were hand-decorated and feature the special Côtes de Genève finishing. The rotor is skeletonized and with narrow spokes, in order to leave the maximum possible view on the movement.
The watch comes on a hand-sewn black alligator leather strap, featuring a black steel PVD pin buckle. The Manufacture Royale 1770 Haute Voltige now with Dual Time-Zone is a non-limited edition and will be priced (retail, including taxes) at 33,000 Swiss Francs.
