Glenlivet takes us through a unique journey through history and a new range of flavors, presenting three exceptional whiskeys from the line Single Cask Pullman. Special series Glenlivet Single Cask Pullman inspired by the historical connection that occurs with one of the largest railway brands – Pullman trains. Cooperation between the two companies began more than a century, when the Pullman produced some of the most luxurious passenger trains in the world, and Glenlivet started breakthrough on the North American market as the first genuine Scotch whiskey in these areas.
Each bottle from the Single Cask Pullman Collection is filled directly from the barrels, without any filtering process or mixing with other types of whiskey. In this way Glenlivet line retains a unique quality and intense full-bodied flavor. Each of the three types of whiskey from Pullman collection are diverse in age and taste notes.
Pullman Club Car
Named after Pullman’s Club Car, this release is 18-years-old and has matured in a sherry butt. It has the largest bottling of the three casks with 618 bottles available nationwide.
Pullman 20th Century Limited
The name of this type of whiskey comes from one of “the most famous train in the world”, as once called a line connecting New York and Chicago, crossing the distance between the two cities for a then record time. This one’s aged in a Eurpean Oak Butt for 14 years, providing a mere 588 bottles for the public.
Pullman Water Level Route
The smallest release of the three single barrel offerings, The Glenlivet Pullman Water Level Route offers only 321 bottles. This particular bottling is named after the Pullman line that took passengers between New York City and Chicago via the Great Lakes. It has aged in an American Oak Hogshead for 14 years. The planned sale price is $349.99 per bottle.
