The proportions and shape of the iconic writing instrument remain unchanged, but the Meisterstück Ultra Black Special Edition is crafted by sandblasting the precious resin to create the matt surface. The colour of mystery or matt black is interrupted only by the glint of the ruthenium-coated fittings and the ruthenium-plated Au585 gold nib, as well as the polished resin forepart.
Iconic but this time mysterious pen in its new finish is available as a Fountain Pen LeGrand, Rollerball LeGrand, Ballpoint Fountain Pen Classique, Rollerball Classique, Ballpoint Pen Classique and the new Midsize. To compliment the launch of the Ultra Black Special Edition, Montblanc has also introduced an all new Ultra Black ink which will be available in variables of a bottle and cartridge.
