According to some writings, Mercedes says goodbye to the current, second-generation CLS class with the Final Edition model (Coupe and “Shooting Brake” versions). What characterizes this edition is the AMG Line package, including a “diamond”, chrome grille, sports bumpers, deeper sills, dual finisher for exhaust pipe and black 19-inch wheels (available are also “silver” units of 18-inch).
When it comes to interior, the upholstery is in black leather with bright stitching.
“Multicontour” front seats has heating and adjustable functions on many different ways, while the flat-bottomed steering wheel possesses Dinamic microfiber handles and silver lever transmission.
Final Edition is adorned with LED headlights, panoramic sliding roof and tinted glass with thermal insulation.
This package is available for both Coupe and “Shooting Brake” and adds €8,211 to the price, which starts from €54,680 in Germany.
Arrival of a new generation is expected in late 2017 or early 2018, and “Shooting Brake” isn’t likely to survive the transition.
